21-st Annual International & Interdisciplinary Conference of International Partners

6-th Annual Conference of Center for School Leadership (CSL – AADF)

The aim of this International and Interdisciplinary Conference is to bring together researchers from all fields of research, students, and other interested academics and professionals from the Balkans, Europe, and other parts of the world, in order to present studies and exchange ideas on the central theme “Toward an Intelligent Society: Challenges and Opportunities.”

It is estimated that when students who begin their education today complete their studies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be one million times more powerful than it was on their first day of school. At the same time, computer processing power is doubling approximately every two years, while language-processing capacity is tripling within the same period (Kissinger et al., 2024). These developments indicate that the world is rapidly moving toward what has been described as an “Intelligent Society” (Baltzersen, 2022).

An Intelligent Society may be understood as a society that recognizes, integrates, and effectively uses diverse forms of intelligence, while consciously avoiding and rejecting their harmful or dangerous manifestations (e.g., purely instrumental intelligence), with the ultimate goal of enhancing people’s quality of life and social well-being.

Scholars are invited to submit and present papers analyzing different forms of intelligence, ranging from the nine forms of intelligence proposed by Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory (Logical–Mathematical, Linguistic, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Musical, Visual–Spatial, Bodily–Kinesthetic, Naturalist, and Existential Intelligence; Gardner, 1983) to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Particular attention is also given to the four widely discussed forms of human intelligence commonly measured through the indices: IQ (Intelligence Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), SQ (Social Quotient), and AQ (Adversity Quotient).

The conference is Interdisciplinary in nature and welcomes submissions within fourteen permanent Thematic Sessions (listed below), reflecting a broad spectrum of scientific, educational, technological, social, economic, and cultural perspectives, as well as in about fourteen Special Sessions of Partner Institutions.

This conference also aims to strengthen cooperation among researchers and regional and international partners. It will be held jointly with the 6th Annual Conference of the School of Directors (Tirana, Albania) and the 5th Annual Conference of LTC and “Polis” Publications.

This annual conference is alternated each year among Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, and the 2026 edition will be hosted in Gjakova, Kosovo, following previous conferences held in Shkodra, Albania (2025); Pristina, Kosovo (2024); Vlora, Albania (2023); Gjilan, Kosovo (2022); Korça, Albania (2021); Prizren, Kosovo (2020); Durrës, Albania (2019); Mitrovica, Kosovo (2018); Tirana, Albania (2017); Tetovo, North Macedonia (2016), among others.

In line with the conference’s long-term Agenda 2030, upcoming editions are planned to take place in Tirana, Albania (2027); Peja, Kosovo (2028); Elbasan, Albania (2029); and Skopje, North Macedonia (2030).
